We are coming down to look the area over in dec. Are there any boardwalks at at any of the beaches? I heard you had to pay to get on the beach near Beaufort? We like a blocked off town feeling. Where would suggest? Are the prices for homes off the wall there? Does that area down there get pretty dead in the winter?
